Curaleaf is one of the largest retail cannabis company in the U.S marijuana industry. They have CO2 extracted cannabis and hemp oil that is non-GMO.
Curaleaf: The Highlights
- Curaleaf is one of the largest cannabis retail company in the cannabis industry, providing a large variety of marijuana and hemp products which serve both medical and recreational purposes.
- Curaleaf’s recent big moves include joining the Canadian Securities Exchange and becoming a public trading company, as well as striking a deal to make their CBD products available in some CVS pharmacies.
- Having a Safe Quality Food Level II certificate as proof of their product purity and quality, Curaleaf claims to have premium, clean, and safe cannabis products that are worthy of use by the medical field.
- Curaleaf has three main brand lines: their main cannabis line, their hemp line, and their UKU Craft line.
- All three brand lines offer a variety of ways in which a person can use their products including edibles, tinctures, lotions, concentrates, capsules, disposable vape pens, vape oils, flower pods, pre-rolls, lozenges, and mints.
There are other cannabis and hemp public companies and then there is Curaleaf Holdings.
Curaleaf is considered to be the largest retail cannabis brand in the U.S cannabis industry. It is available to all marijuana users in the following states: Oregon, California, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Curaleaf has three different brand lines:
- Curaleaf products
- Curaleaf hemp
- UKU craft cannabis
All three brand lines offer a variety of ways in which a person can use their products:
- Flower pods
- Vape oils
- Topical lotions
Curaleaf’s many dispensary locations offer medical marijuana patients and caregivers, as well as recreational marijuana users, access to their various cannabis and hemp products.
Many people that benefit from the medical marijuana program and have their marijuana card can go to Curaleaf dispensaries to get relief and feel better.
These people include:
- Senior citizens who deal with chronic pain and inflammation
- Medical patients who have various illnesses such as multiple sclerosis or a certain type of cancer
- Military veterans who also deal with chronic pain or have PTSD
Additionally, these various cannabis patients can rest assured that they are getting premium, reliable, and clean marijuana products. Curaleaf’s processing facility in Florida received a Safe Quality Food Level II certification, scoring an “excellent.”
Curaleaf is the first and only company in Florida to achieve this food safety certification.
On the business side of things Curaleaf, a subsidiary of Curaleaf Holdings, is a vertically integrated and newly publically traded investment company that is quickly becoming a superstar among U.S and Canadian markets.
GMP Securities analytics partners state that the company “is now the industry leader among U.S public cannabis companies.”
Starting their trading journey in Canada in October of 2018, they now actively trade on the Canadian Securities Exchange in addition to the OTC Market in the United States.
This move has allowed them to have the backing of two big Russian investors who were big players in the rest of Russia’s economy after the Soviet Union collapsed. It has also allowed them to have the benefit of a big store fleet and a 4.5 billion valuation.
In connection with this move, according to Curaleaf’s 2018 press release, they also raised approximately $400 million in a private placement offering led by GMP Securities L.P. and Canaccord Genuity Corp.
This offering marks the largest cannabis equity financing completed to date.
Since then, Curaleaf’s sales have increased by a whopping 43 percent in just the last four months of last year. Also, they went from having only seven stores at the beginning of 2018 to 43 dispensaries currently in this month of March 2019.
As of March 28th, 2019, they have a market cap of 110.52 million dollars.
Additionally, on March 21st, Curaleaf Holdings announced they are now offering their over-the-counter hemp products in 800 CVS stores all around the U.S.
Last year in 2018, the U.S Congress passed the Hemp Farming Act which legalized hemp in the United States. This directly impacted both the cannabis and hemp industries as companies could now sell their CBD products anywhere.
Curaleaf likewise took advantage of this and pushed their CBD products into the largest drugstore chain in the U.S – CVS. Thanks to this move by Curaleaf, their OTC shares, or marijuana stocks, rose by more than 20 percent and their market value boosted to $3.8 billion.
The upside to Curaleaf’s products is that all of them are non-GMO, third-party tested, contain no THC, and are a full spectrum oil with all the terpenes, various cannabinoids (except THC), and flavonoids.
There seems to be no reason to believe that they do not work or that they are weak products due to the rapid growth of the company and the quality of the products.
However, there is one very seemingly point to be made. Although you can google a few reviews from some of their dispensary locations, there seems to be a lack of review information from customers on their website.
This makes the products seem a little more doubtable, causing people to be more reluctant to buy their products, especially considering they are a bit pricey.

UKU By Curaleaf
Curaleaf’s UKU marijuana products are potent, terpene-rich, and clean choices for anyone who desires strong medicinal or recreational effects.
Below are the detailed descriptions of several cannabis products suited for many tastes and preferences:
Flower & Prerolls
Curaleaf offers carefully dried and cured Indica, Sativa, and hybrid cannabis flower buds – all of which offer various terpene aromas and flavors.
In order to know more specifically what strains Curaleaf’s UKU line offers, you will have to call or visit a local Curaleaf marijuana dispensary.
Curaleaf also offers concentrated oil cartridges in CO2 and distillate forms. Using the CO2 extraction method, they are able to maintain the original integrity of the oil with all its precious terpenes and cannabinoids.
Disposable Vape Pens
These pens allow for the convenience of not having to worry about keeping up with your conventional vape pen. Just smoke the concentrated distillate and then toss when you’re done.
This is also a great option for people who don’t always smoke cannabis but want to enjoy its relaxing and pain-relieving effects every once in a while.
For people who do not want to smoke their cannabis and prefer a supplement form, UKU droppers are the way to go.
The same potent, terpene-rich CO2 oil that is within their cartridges is also in these convenient droppers, giving people the ease of convenience of being a bit more discreet with their medical cannabis.
Curaleaf’s UKU line also gives the option for a concentrated terpene sap. This sap contains the CO2 extracted distillate oil. This means that it retains the full spectrum of terpenes and cannabinoids contained within the marijuana oil, giving the user the heavily desired entourage effect.
UKU’s five-milligram THC mints are another great option for people who want a more discreet way to supplement with medical marijuana. These mints come in a bag of 20, giving you a total of 100 milligrams per package.
From all the evidence presented, it seems that Curaleaf is overall a great option for many hemp and cannabis-loving consumers.
Aside from the fact that Curaleaf has quickly become big business and is easily available in all legal states, their products seem to be a high-quality, safe, and effective way to receive medical relief.
Additionally, they offer a wide variety of products that can appeal to many different taste preferences and fulfill various types of needs. With that in mind, Curaleaf seems poised to grow even further as a company.
