A lot of people will use the butter or oil in their baked goods and this is a great way to share with others. You do not have to limit yourself to baked goods and candy, though. You can easily use CBD infused butter or oil in your favorite savory recipes, in condiments, and even in drinks and other beverages. When it comes to CBD candy treats, my personal favorite is the gummy bear, so I’ll briefly walk through how to make a tasty CBD gummy at home, without a lot of fuss.
You will need a few tools in order to do this correctly. You’ll need gummy bear molds, a saucepan, whisk, a high-quality durable spatula, a measuring cup, and a funnel. For this recipe, you will want to use a tincture, which is a quick and easy 1-ounce measurement of liquid CBD.
Take about half a cup of coconut water (or coconut oil) and bring it to the boil with a couple of organic green tea bags and steep for no more than 10 minutes. Then, remove the tea bags and toss. Next, you will want to add about 3/4 cup of your favorite juice (I like tart cherry best) and a few tablespoons of honey. You will want to gently boil this mixture for a few minutes.
Next, you will need to add about 1 1/2 of gelatin and whisk briskly for about four minutes. If you have a condiment bottle, use the funnel to pour the mixture into the bottle for a much easier time filling the gummy bear molds.
Once the molds have been filled, you will need to put them in the fridge for at least 15 minutes or until they are fully set. Most people prefer to enjoy them once they have fully set and cooled completely.
Using this basic recipe you can easily tailor these gummies to your personal preferences and favorite flavors. They are highly versatile and are an incredibly tasty way to get a good dose of CBD. Don’t be afraid to play around with different flavor combinations until you find your favorite.
